Meet the Author Who Ignited it all

Natalie started off as a nail technician before moving into the big wide world of events, where she spends all her time putting together spreadsheets, picking dinner menus, sleeping in hotel rooms and dreaming of other worlds far more interesting than this one.

Her love of creative writing and reading anything she could get her hands on was ignited young, when she’d make books for her parents and fill them with her own illustrations and stories. Her primary school teacher was convinced she’d see her book in WHSmith one day.

With her A Levels in English Language & Literature, her love of books, and a wing and a prayer, she decided on a whim to buy a second-hand laptop and set off writing until her debut novel, Hellfire, was born.

She’s a proper Northern lass and lives with her husband in Manchester with their three insane but equally cute dogs, and urges both her parents and the lovely Mrs Ogilvie to, respectfully, skip Chapter 40.
